Six One Sol (“Six One Sol,” “SOS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a defense-technology venture firm. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website at https://sixonesol.com, use our portfolio applications at sixonesol.com, access our client portal, or otherwise interact with us.
By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We collect information you choose to give us, including when you:
You decide what information to share with us. Some features (such as submitting an application or accessing the portal) cannot function without certain information.
When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information, including your IP address, browser type and user-agent string, device and operating-system information, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies.
We provide a secure client portal that clients may access by invitation after being added by Six One Sol. The portal is not open to public registration.
When you use the portal, we may collect and store:
Registered portal users can view and edit the personal information in their profile, except for their username. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us (see Your rights and Contact us below). Authorized Six One Sol administrators can also view and manage portal account information in order to operate and support the service.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security verification.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality, including the ability to stay logged in to the client portal.
We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. These services may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address and usage data. This information helps us improve the site. You can learn more about how Google handles data at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you had visited that other website directly. These third parties may collect data about you, set or read cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content, including if you are logged in to that third-party service. We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:
We retain each category of personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We determine the appropriate retention period based on the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which we process it, our ongoing relationship with you, and applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, security, and audit requirements.
We will fill in specific retention periods for each category as we finalize our internal schedule. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, except where we are obligated to keep it for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls for the client portal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your portal credentials confidential.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
If you have an account or have contacted us, you can request an exported copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to erase it. This does not apply to data we are required or permitted to retain for administrative, legal, security, or contractual reasons. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this policy. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). Terms used here have the meanings given in the CCPA.
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information. We collect this information directly from you, automatically from your device and browser, and from our service providers (for example, analytics and security providers). We disclose it for business purposes to the categories of third parties noted below.

The only sensitive personal information we collect is the log-in credentials for your client-portal account. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. Because our use is limited to these permitted purposes, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information does not apply; if our practices change, we will update this policy and provide that right.
